  • A total of 17 teams have dropped out of this competition.
  • I am still workimg on more shirts to add to the selection, I will post them as soon as I figure it out.

Week 1 Results

-----------------------------

What seemed to be a rather dull week of picks actually turned out quite interestingly.

Here are your leaders:

1. Hofstra (32)

Mount Union

3. Coastal Carolina (30)

Shawnee St.

5. Columbus State (28)

6. Grand Valley St. (24)

Knox College

Sam Houston St.

Indiana St.

Grambling St.

The Citadel

Yale

Austin Peay

If your school is not listed and would like your point total... do better next week. (If you really need it, e-mail me and I'll give it to you)

Next weeks picks will be out as soon as the AP Top 25 is released.

Week 1 BRASS BALLS AWARD: Coastal Carolina. The only school to pick App. St. to beat scUM.

Toiletries to Ivy Tech and Portland St. for the lowest total points that were cast... 18

The perfect score for this week would have been 40 points. New Rule: If you get every game correct, you will be awarded 5 bonus points. That's right, I can change the rules mid-season.... just like I can add prizes as well.

Also, a few schools did not give entries. I will disqualify any school that fails to supply an entry for 2 different weeks. So the schools that did not submit in week 1, will be history if they miss again during the rest of the season.

Thanks for playing, and good luck next week!

There Can Be Only One

Hey folks. Welcome to the contests page of Subway Domer. This will be the place for all updates and news for the Pick-Em contest. Please "favorite" this page or you can also go to Subway Domer to link here.
I am going to keep the number of participants to around 40 but under 50. This will ensure that I don't get too bogged down with contest material during the course of the season. This will also make your odds of winning that much greater.
I may have a few side bets for some interesting matchups through out the year. Meaning; prizes for shit. The number of shirts to choose from will more than likely go up as well.
FULL DISCLOSURE: I will be making my picks as well under the ID Montana (Go Grizzlies), however I will not be eligible for the shirt. If I take the prize, the person in 2nd will be the "winner", and henceforth be eligble for all merchandise warranted to the champion.
Good Luck and start reading your preseason mags (if you haven't already), the 3 "outsider" matchups will be VERY interesting.
